This is the script of our media production, the title is still yet decided. The characters in this text are the Doctors, Security Guard and the Patient.

The Doctor is a confident man. He walks with a persona of arrogance. He wears a lab coat or suit and he isn’t fazed by anything.

The Security Guard is a bigger person. He wears a black suit with black glasses. He is aware that he must protect the Doctor at all costs. We see this from the first 2 minutes of the film.

Doctor 2 is a confident man in his own knowledge however is rather timid in social interactions. He also wears a Lab coat and hold his clipboard tightly.

The Patient is a mysterious character with many unanswered questions. He doesn’t give anything of himself away and is rather disturbed in interactions with other people. He wears a straitjacket and it is clearly worn down over the time he has spent in it.

This is the first scene, the Doctor and Security Guard are walking towards the building. There is a suspicious feeling in the air.

Doctor:(Looks stern, walks forward with confidence)

Security Guard:(Looks around the street, curiously, ready for any conflict or approach from any threats)

The two reach the door of the building.

Doctor:(Confidently) This must be it.

Security Guard:(Knocks on door for Doctor)

Doctor 2:(Opens door timidly,hoping to see the Doctor)...Welcome doctor, you finally made it...good good. Come in.

Security Guard:(Lets Doctor through first and follows behind him.)

Doctor 2:(Closes door as they enter, but checks the street for any people that have followed.)

Now the Doctor and Security Guard are with Doctor 2 inside the building. Here there will be the door that divides them and the patient. Doctor 2 comes across rather nervous under the presence of the Security Guard. He also checks his clipboard vigorously to ensure everything is ok for the Doctor to enter)

Doctor: So, through here?(leading towards the door)

Doctor 2: Yes, straight through here.(Looking at the security guard)

The doctors and security guard walk towards the door. Doctor 2 types in the code that opens the door. The security guard walks into the room and the Doctor follows, taking the clipboard out of Doctor 2’s hands. As they enter the door closes behind them.

In the corner of the room there is the Patient. He is wearing a straitjacket, he looks old for his young age. He lays facing the wall in the corner, aware of the people entering but not caring. The Doctor looks at the Security Guard as if to say ‘stay back’.

Doctor:(approaches Patient with care)

Patient:(As Doctor gets closer he becomes more agitated)

As we see the patient become more distressed there is an introduction of non-diegetic voices that overpower the scene. We see this is from the Patient's perspective as the camera focuses more on him. These voices are not understandable but are what we hear throughout.

Doctor:(Speaking but we do not hear what he is saying over the noise of the voices)

A shot reverse shot will be used to show the change in perspective. At first the patient is looking at the Doctor with distress but we do not understand why. Then we see the Doctor again, through the eyes of the Patient. We see a different look of the Doctor. Is now wearing scary clothing/mask. This is then why we understand the Patient's distress.

Patient:(Voice-Over) Why, why are you here! No no no. I’ll be good. Please not again! (Distressed more now, frightened and looking for a way out)

Doctor:(Still approaching calmly, even though the Patient is clearly angered)

We then see the Doctor in his actual form, however this is still accompanied by the voice-overs of the patient.

Patient:(Voice Overs) Why Why. Not Again! (As we hear this voice over the patient runs into Doctor)

Doctor:(Falls to the ground)

Patient:(Attempting to attack Doctor even with straitjacket on)

Security Guard:(Runs into conflict and throws the Patient off of the Doctor.)

Patient:(On the floor, moaning)

Security Guard:(Restrains him and injects him - which calms the Patient down.)

Patient:(Voice overs)So this is my life now?(Zooms out of face)

As we hear this we see the Doctor and Security Guard leave the room and go back to Doctor 2. As the door closes we see the Patient’s face and the door shuts on the camera.
